Topsite is seeking an experienced web developer who is looking for a fresh opportunity with a quickly growing company. You will focus on developing outstanding websites – using your experience and skill to build websites efficiently and inline with modern development best practices. More experienced candidates will also be involved in app and software development projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a web developer at Topsite, you’re primary role will be to utilize your HTML, CSS, and JS skills to build websites. We don’t use page builders here, so don’t expect to drag-and-drop your way to success. We require real coders with strong creative problem solving skills. Along with websites, our development team also sometimes works on app and software projects.
Contributing as a contractor, you will work remotely but in collaboration with our team. You will attend project meetings as necessary via video meetings. Although preference will be given to a candidate that lives locally and could occasionally attend meetings in-person.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help translate client goals into creative solutions.
- Demonstrated portfolio, showcasing your best development work.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortably able to voice your opinions but also embrace flexibility as projects evolve.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Education in development/com-sci/marketing, or in another related field.
- Certifications relevant to website/app development.
- Experience working with UX/UI designers on projects.
- Experience conducting client work, whether freelance or with an agency.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
