KW Montessori School strives to provide an authentic Montessori education experience for children and their families. It was vital for our creative strategy to align with their goals. Our team created an eye-catching website that not only communicates the benefits of this alternative education, but also provides parents with a space to receive updates and information about their children’s learning. We dove into this project with the aim to develop a password-protected portal— and we delivered. We also mirrored the school’s philosophies and brand identity to design a new website with a clear user experience.

Strategy
The Challenge
As a private school providing high-quality education, KW Montessori needed a website that would communicate their philosophy in a more professional and polished way. Their initial site was outdated and simple.
Our Process
KW Montessori needed a creative strategy and better user journey. We researched their audience and helped them rebuild a user-friendly, private portal for parents, in addition to redesigning their website for an overall better experience.
We Delivered
Our team crafted a new, colourful, informative website with password-protected areas, integrating capabilities for the client to upload images and class updates for parents.
A Bright New Site
KW Montessori’s website went from basic to bright, clean, and colourful. Our creative team worked hard to drive home the Montessori philosophy throughout the entire website. From colours and building-block shapes to choosing the right photos, we successfully created a design that is cohesive with their school and overall brand image.

Private Portal
Parents of students in the Young Children’s Community, CASA, and Elementary programs all needed a more user-friendly way to access information from teachers. Our team researched and analyzed the best way to rebuild KW Montessori’s portal to provide a better experience.
We designed and developed a password-protected portal, which houses private pages that contain updates from the school and pictures of students and their classrooms. This allows prospective parents to still browse the website without accessing sensitive information of currently enrolled children.


Summary
KW Montessori’s creative strategy involved working with the brand identity and school philosophy to make a bright new website for prospective parents. Our team designed the website with currently enrolled students in mind as well, developing a private portal where images and sensitive information can be accessed.
